In Pegau near Leipzig, a development scheme sets out the details of a new residential area in a peaceful country setting. The idyllic location will be home to 54 flats in three buildings, plus 32 semi-detached houses that will become homes for up to 32 families. The three shared-occupancy buildings have been designed as gabled buildings that will fit in with the nearby settlements in both scale and proportion, while the semi-detached houses are to have flat roofs. All the buildings will have white rendered facades. The windows and front doors will be made from oak, contrasting with the anthracite-coloured balconies, cladding and walls around the front door.
